Making Wishes Come True

Here’s an out of this world example of adults thinking like children and touching so many.  A 13 year old boy in Seattle living with liver cancer dreamed of being a superhero. The regional chapter of Make A Wish Foundation did a spectacular job of helping his wish come true.

I wish I had been able to see the look on Erik’s face when he saved the Seattle Sounders. His reaction must have been priceless. I hope there was a call to action in the media to help other children’s wishes come true by donating to Make A Wish Foundation. This simple idea must have taken hours of planning and resources.

Often granting wishes doesn’t take money – time is more important. Some children’s wishes are as simple as having their parent meet them after school. How can you help make a simple wish come true?
